Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
AirTrackpad reads your camera on your own Mac to track your hand. No images, frames, or biometric data are uploaded anywhere.
What the app processes
- Camera frames are held in memory to find hand landmarks, then discarded. Nothing is written to disk.
- Your settings (sensitivity, smoothing, theme) are stored locally on your Mac.
- Your licence code and the machine fingerprint it is tied to are sent to our licence server when you activate, and only then.
Permissions
The app needs camera access to work. Revoke it any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
Third parties
No analytics SDKs and no tracking libraries are bundled in the app. Payments run through PayPal, under their privacy policy — we never see your card details. The website records a page count on visit; it stores no cookies and no identifiers.
